We are always looking for students from Newcastle University to join our team and help with our projects, fundraising and marketing.
Why should you get involved?
- Joining SIFE is a great way to volunteer. If you have a desire to get involved in community project work, this is your opportunity. Whether one of our existing projects appeals to you, or you have your own idea for a project, we would love to have you.
- SIFE looks great on your CV and will really make you stand out. It allows you to put what you have learnt in your degree into practice while giving you the opportunity to gain transferable business skills and learn about enterprise.
- You get to network with industry professionals. We have our own business advisory board; comprised of experts in marketing, finance, sales, human resources and business, who not only offer us invaluable advice, but also provide an excellent opportunity to network. Furthermore, SIFE UK has a range of sponsor companies including Accenture, GlaxoSmithKline, Heinz, HSBC, Unilever – the list goes on and on. For more, check out the SIFE UK website. These companies regard graduating SIFE members very highly and often recruit students after seeing their contribution to their SIFE teams.
- It’s fun! We are a great friendly team. We have fantastic socials and provide a warm, supportive atmosphere. We love we what we do, and we have fun doing it. Hopefully this will become very apparent when you meet us!
Finally, you do not have to be a business student to join! Our current team comprises of students from over 30 subject disciplines. We thrive off diversity, believing that every student has something unique and beneficial to bring to our team and our projects.
